Friday, April 9 to Sunday, April 11, 2010 Catholic Youth Celebration
The diocese is interested in taking a group to the CYC Celebration in Helena, MT.
- Every St. Mary's youth who attended CYC here 2 years ago is excited to know this is an option this year. I am attending a meeting next week so I would appreciate knowing how many would be interested in attending and if you could miss school on Friday for travel purposes. Please let me know by March 1.

Depart Spokane July 31 return evening of August 7
STRUCTURE:
- Week long immersion: Sunday afternoon to Saturday noon.
- Small groups of 10-25 people (youth and adult leaders)
- Sites: Woodburn, Salem, and Independence
- Housing: local church or community center
- Service will include on-site projects and assisting with Youth Enrichment summer program
- Integration with the agricultural and Hispanic community
- Cultural activities and outings to develop a greater awareness & understanding of the community
- Open to high school age youth (kids going into high school and those who just graduated)
