1.  After consultation with the Religious Education Board, the Parish Pastoral Council and a meeting with parents, and to comply with the Universal law of the Church and Diocesan Policy, preparation for Reconciliation will be offered to children before Confirmatiion and First Eucharist.

2.  As a result, preparation for Reconciliation will be normally provided for 2nd grade children in the Spring of the year during the Lenten Season.  Preparation for Confirmation and First Eucharist will be provided the next semester in the Fall of 3rd grade.

3.  To practically implement this revision, in the Spring of 2004, preparation for Reconciliation will be offered to 3rd and 4th graders.  In the Spring of 2005, preparation for Reconciliation will be presented to 2nd and 3rd graders.  The next celebration of Confirmation-1st Eucharist will be in the Fall of 2005 for the 3rd graders that year.
